Middlesex

When we talk of Middlesex where do we mean?

The County, the Province or the Tribal Lands?

It's possible you didn't even realise there is a choice!

We do know that anyone who says Middlesex
‘doesn’t exist’ is talking out their hat.

The assumption that because the County Council was abolished Middlesex is abolished is fanciful - did Middlesex not exist before 1889? For that is the very recent date the Middlesex County Council was formed.

And as you will read and learn,
nothing could be further from the truth.

Middlesaxon Tribe Home

Defenders of the county of Middlesex!

Hi, I am Selwyn Middlesaxon and I would like to introduce you to ‘The Middlesaxon Tribe’.

This organisation will support all that is good in the county – a sort of friends of Middlesex – but with something to attract all ages.

Our aims and objectives are the same as the County of Middlesex Trust.

For a membership of £12 a year each tribe member gets a car sticker, badge and key ring and at least two e-mail newsletters a year on the latest news on Middlesex in their first year of membership.

Money raised will go to the first project of seeing a road sign on every road that enters the county bearing the county arms and welcome to the county of Middlesex.

Selwyn
